On Saturday 25 July a workshop for treasurers, auditors/examiners and those with a stake in management of Lodge or Chapter finances was held at the Yorshire Farming Museum.

The workshop, attended by over 40 delegates,  was led by David Alderson and Paul Hillary, and was a lively interactive session exploring the requirements placed on those managing monies in a Lodge or Chapter context.

The discussions continued afterwards over a buffet lunch.

One delegate commented "It was extremely useful to me as I am about to become a Lodge treasurer. To be aware of all the requirements of the role is an essential start, and the practical tips and advice given today will be invaluable".
