On the 17th May the Invictus Chapter No 9960 met at Pocklington, and a thoroughly enjoyable meeting was had by all!

The event had a VE Day theme. The caterer for the festive board mirrored food that would have been readily available during WW2. Mick Holland the Charity Steward read out several Churchill speeches adding to the themed event. In addition, he brought his usual fun to the raffle, first prize was a variety of items including a BBQ Apron in the form of a Freemason Apron which the winner just had to wear for fun. During the event a selection of 40s' music was played in the background.

Invictus Chapter used this first meeting to practice a candidate exaltation using the new Savage ritual. Jack Sharp it has to be said did a sterling job in taking all the companions through the ritual. Thank you, Jack, on behalf of all the companions of your Chapter for taking all the time to guide us through our paces.

All those attending said it was a lovely day.

If you fancy attending something totally different with a military theme why not register your interest in attending a future meeting with the Scribe E, he can be contacted via email at  invictus9960scribe@gmail.com

You can be assured of a really warm welcome.
