Nunthorpe Primary Academy recently lost their much loved lollipop man, Alan, and wanted to purchase a colourful picnic table as a lasting tribute in his honour.

Handyside Chapter were pleased to support this memorial with a donation of £125 to the purchase cost, the remainder being made up by fundraising at the school.  As you can see from our picture the children are delighted to put the bench to immediate good use.

The Chapter have a strong ongoing relationship with the school, having previously supported the purchase of a defibrillator sited there.
