Bob Terry: 50 years in the Royal Arch

Members of Lennox Chapter No. 123 enjoyed a very special evening recently as E.Comp Bob Terry celebrated an extraordinary 50 years in the Royal Arch.

The occasion provided an opportunity to reflect on Bob’s remarkable journey and the strong influence of his late father, Fred, who played such an important role in shaping his life. From helping in his father’s paper shop during his younger years to being encouraged to join Thornborough Lodge and later the Royal Arch, Bob spoke warmly of the guidance and support he received.

Bob was particularly proud to share the story of his father’s military service as a Paratrooper during the Second World War. Fred served in North Africa, Sicily and Italy, and was later wounded and taken prisoner during the Battle of Arnhem.

In recognition of his distinguished 50 years of service to Royal Arch Masonry, Bob was presented with his 50-Year Certificate and commemorative lapel pin by E.Comp Nick Mitchell, Third Provincial Grand Principal, who was supported by a team of Provincial Officers.

The evening was a fitting tribute to a much-respected Companion whose commitment, loyalty and friendship have enriched the Royal Arch for half a century.

Congratulations, E.Comp Bob Terry, on this remarkable milestone.
