All Hands on Deck! – St Nicholas Lodge was delighted to hand over a cheque for £1200 to the Scarborough Sea Cadets last month.

The cadets are currently raising funds for the refurbishment of their grade 2 listed headquarters and this money will go towards much need all access toilets and wet room.

The Scarborough Sea Cadets Corps supports over 150 young persons living in and around Scarborough. Their headquarters near Scarborough Harbour is currently undergoing a major refurbishment and St Nicholas Lodge is delighted to support this.

During a Summer Training Night at nearby lakes, members of St Nicholas Lodge handed over the cheque and were made very welcome by all the cadets. Luckily, none of the brethren ended up getting wet!!

Subsequently, the donation was supported by a further donation of £1000.00 from the FCNYER.

Bob Smith, Chair of Scarborough Sea Cadet Corps thanked St Nicholas Lodge and the FCYNER for their support and invited all to visit the premises when the work is complete!
