On 8 January WBro Bill Glanville, Deputy Provincial Grand Master, accompanied by a team of Provincial Officers, made the first team visit of 2025 to Meridian Lodge No 9597 in York.

The team received a warm welcome from Lodge Master Andy Hinchcliff and his members. At a white table festive board the diners were treated to a fascinating and erudite illustrated lecture delivered by WBro Mick Fogg (IPM - below) on the topic of the Tomb of the Unknown Warrior, which had been produced after his own researches into his grandfather's war service. Packed with little-known detail, and delivered in a most engaging style, it made for a most memorable day in York.
