St John of Bridlington Lodge held its BBQ recently and the Bridlington Red Admiral Majorettes brought one of the younger groups to both demonstrate and entertain.

Despite the very hot weather they were brilliant and it was a real pleasure to see them “putting on the style”.

Both the Lodge and the Majorettes are extremely grateful for the grant of £380 from FCYNER and I’m attaching a photo of the happy group receiving a cheque! This activity provides a safe and happy environment for children and adults to learn how to dance in process with batons. This grant will top up the grant from St John of Bridlington Lodge of £250 to fund first aid kit, usb sticks (for music) and dress bags.

The adults are George Dobson (W M), his wife and Laura Collinson the Majorettes’ secretary.
