On Saturday 31 October 2026, the Provincial Grand Master led a delegation from the Province of Yorkshire North and East Ridings to the Freemasons' National Service of Remembrance at the RBL National Remembrance Gardens.
He was accompanied by the Deputy Provincial Grand Master, two Assistant Provincial Grand Masters and a Past Deputy Provincial Grand Master, together with a good contingent of members of Invictus Lodge No. 9960.
Freemasons from across the country came together to remember all those who served and all those who gave their lives. Our Provincial poppy wreath carried the simple words "Lest we forget".
Sean Carroll, Provincial Deputy Grand Director of Ceremonies, described it as "an excellent day", and it was very well attended.
Our sincere thanks go to Derbyshire Freemasons for organising the Service, and to everyone who travelled to represent our Province.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember them.
