Good Neighbour Lodge No 8378 (West Kent) met at Connaught Court, York on Friday 25th September  under dispensation from Yorkshire N&E Ridings and West Kent Provinces.

Good Neighbour Lodge is a West Kent peripatetic Lodge, and meets at Care Homes around the country, thus allowing brethren in those homes to attend a Lodge meeting. Our Province was represented at the very well attended meeting by WBro John Wilkinson, Deputy Provincial Grand Master, and WBro Chris Ansell PGStB, who delivered a talk entitled "Celebrating our legendary roots" - a personal perspective on the legendary assembly of Masons at York exactly 1100 years ago in 926AD. The talk included an explanation of the  "Ancient Charges" ceremony of the Masonic Order of Athelstan,  held annually in York in commemoration of the legendary assembly.

The next meeting of the Lodge will be RMBI Prince George, Duke of Kent Court,  Chislehurst in November.
