Lennox Lodge 123 held a rather special meeting last night (08/01/2026) when they Initiated a Father and son in a moving and well executed double ceremony.

Bro Haydyn Whateley is a perfect example of the success of the Membership Pathway. Having made an initial online enquiry he was introduced to Lennox Lodge 123 via a Provincial referral.
Following an initial telephone conversation the Secretary of Lennox Lodge, WBro Chris Clay, invited Haydyn to attend the annual All Dales Inter-Lodge cricket match and B-B-Q to meet with the Brethren of Lennox and other local Lodges.

Haydyn brought his father Michael along. A great day was had by all with the Lennox/Beresford-Pierce team emerging victorious, and Michael was so impressed with the warmth of the welcome that he decided to apply to join alongside his son.

This resulted in not just a very special father/son Initiation but possibly the first example of a Brother following the call to "Introduce 1 person to Freemasonry" before he was actually made a Mason!
