At this time of year, the quotation ”Christmas is for giving and for showing that we care” comes to mind which as we know fits well with our Masonic principles of thinking of others.

This year, it has been ably demonstrated by Eboracum Lodge through their donations of Christmas presents to the York Hospital Children’s Ward resulting in happy and smiling children who had to spend their time in hospital during the festive season. This, as in previous years, grateful thanks must go to Paul “Santa” Johnson and his wife who again kindly volunteered to do the hard work of purchasing the presents before getting them ready for handing over to the Ward staff.
