The Province was delighted to host a visit from Deputy Grand Master Sir Michael Snyder on 1 October.
Sir Michael opened a new accommodation unit at the York Minster Stonemasons yard, meeting the apprentice stonemasons, many of whom are supported by the Province. Later Sir Michael addressed a meeting of the Grand Officers Mess held at Castlegate on his thoughts for maintaining the relevance of Freemasonry in the face of modern pressures. A lively Q&A session followed. Mess President Alan Brundall presented Sir Michael with a token of his visit. We hope to see him again soon!
