Congratulations to Andy Hinchcliff, a member of Provincial Grand Stewards Lodge No. 9611, who is the first person within United Grand Lodge of England to receive all four Solomon certificates simultaneously in a Craft Lodge.
The first certificate, the Royal Arch certificate, was presented by the Provincial Grand Mentor, Bazza Longstaff, who also provided an update on the developments on Solomon. The Worshipful Master of the Stewards Lodge, Harry Elliott, then presented the three Craft certificates.
Andy is one of only 15 people in the Province of Yorkshire North and East Ridings to receive all four Solomon Certificates. Reflecting on his Solomon learning experience, Andy said: “I really enjoyed the online learning that accompanied the course and was pleasantly surprised by how much information I was already storing in my memory. This experience has deepened my thirst for knowledge and for more daily advancements in freemasonry.”
The Province have presented over 150 certificates in recent months and other Provinces are following suit.
