Wyke Millennium Chapter are now the proud owners of a Tracing Board based on a board dated c1810, which saw first use at their meeting on 25 October.
The original board was lost from Cyrus Chapter No 21 in London, so a visit was made to the Museum of Freemaosnry at Gt Queen St. Martin Cherry, the Librarian, took Companion Barry Longstaff to view an apron believed to belong to the Antients which had a very similar design to the original board.
Based on this apron Ex Comp Longstaff commissioned E Comp Ron Baker PPAGDC (Bucks) to paint a Tracing Board for the Wyke Millennium Chapter. The Chapter is now one of the few in our Province to display a Tracing Board during their workings.
