On Wednesday 21st September the Deputy Provincial Grand Director of Ceremonies, W.Bro Steve Cox startled the members of Alexandra Lodge No.1511, Hornsea, by announcing his presence after they had assembled, and the Lodge opened!

They had no prior knowledge of his attendance.

Why?

Together with the Deputy Provincial Grand Master, Jonathan Smith, they organised a surprise visit to Alexandra Lodge which was conducting a double ‘passing’ on behalf of Wilberforce Lodge No. 2134.

The DPGM was pleased to see such numbers in attendance and enjoyed what was a truly excellent ceremony in the certain knowledge that those in attendance had committed themselves for Brothers Peter Skinner and Ron McCarthy and benefit of the Lodge.
