On Tuesday 6 December Portus Felix Lodge No 6712 held its final meeting before merger with Royal Lodge in early 2023. The emotional occasion was marked by a visit from the RW Provincial Grand Master Dr David Chambers and an extensive team of Provincial Officers, who witnessed a superb initiation ceremony performed by the officers of the Lodge.

At the festive board the RW Provincial Grand Master paid tribute to the role the Lodge had played in Filey and the Province over many years and presented and entrusted the outgoing Master and Wardens with their engraved ceremonial gavels, which had themselves been originally presented to the Lodge by the founders.

Royal Portus Felix Lodge will meet for the first time on 22 February 2023.
