The Old Globe Lodge 200 is one of only 2 Atholl (Antients) Lodges in the Province of YNER. Notwithstanding that they are engaging with modern technology to ensure all their members under the guidance of their WM Michael Ward and Lodge mentor David Birkenshaw take advantage of making daily advancement in Masonic knowledge.
On the evening of Wednesday 17th September 2025, Callum Walker was passed to a Fellowcraft. The answers were given in an exemplary manner. The second degree is considered to be the degree of educational advancement. It was apt therefore that Entered Apprentice Jan Alfred Amante was presented with the Welcome Apprentice Solomon Academy certificate.
Jan said completing the EA Welcome module greatly assisted him in understanding some of the symbolism of his first degree ceremony and his intention was to complete each module appropriate to his advancement through his Masonic journey.
The Provincial Grand Mentor congratulated Jan and was pleased to present him with the digital version of the certificate as well as a symbolic paper one.
