W Bro Major David Wood, Worshipful Master of Falcon Lodge 1416, is off again, having run in events for charity over many years.

Last year he raised over £3000 for Dementia UK by completing the London Marathon. When he is not volunteering as Chairman of Thirsk Rugby Club or attending lodge, he can be found on his treadmill or pounding pavements to remain in good shape for his fundraising endeavours.

This year David will be taking on the Great North Run on Sun 10 September 2023, in aid of the NSPCC, where he hopes to beat his fundraising total from last year and would really appreciate the assistance of freemasons and their friends and family from across the province.
