Members, family and friends of the Falcon Lodge at Thirsk celebrated St George in fine style and by the courtesy and generosity of the Worshipful Master David Wood.

The buffet was presented by the Lodge caterers of “The Gavel” cafe based at Thirsk Livestock market.

Dress code was Red and White with symbolism appropriate to the event.

The WM had prepared a written quiz which tested intellect cypher and knowledge.

He also gave a rendition of the call to Arms before the battle of Agincourt. It would have had credit on the stage of The Royal Shakespeare Theatre, Stratford on Avon!

The Lodge DC Carlton Caswell gave a multi topical question and written answer quiz.

The entertainment concluded with a raffle which realised £300 pounds for the Lodges charity and community engagement.
