At the March meeting of Elmslac Lodge held in Helmsley Town Hall, the invited speaker was Vincenzena d”Alessandra (pictured above) from the Yorkshire Energy Doctor, a company which is based in Selby.

The Yorkshire Energy Doctor is an independent energy advice organisation, providing advocacy, advice and support to consumers around energy bills. They also work extensively with other public and voluntary sector organisations, providing training on fuel poverty and energy awareness, and taking referrals to help others to be safe, warm and well.

Vincenzena offered very sound advice to the members, who were present with their ladies, on how to check and reduce their energy bills during a difficult economic period.
