Don Ward celebrates 60 years in Freemasonry

Don Ward presentation of 60 years certificate

Worshipful Brother Don Ward celebrated 60 years of service to Freemasonry at the regular meeting of Mitre Lodge of York No 7321 on Wed 5th April.

Before presenting Don with his certificate Past APGM David Marsh interviewed Don about both his personal and masonic life which fascinated the brethren present.

Don entered the computer industry at its very early stages in 1957 and worked for both IBM and NCR before retiring.

A member of Mitre Lodge all his masonic life, Don has served many roles including WM in 1977.

Until recent years Don and his wife Judy liked nothing better than sitting at Headingly watching Yorkshire Country Cricket Club where they were members for many years.
