The inaugural walk organised by the Provincial walking group took place on Sunday, October 8th.
A total of 34 walkers, including some four-legged friends, enjoyed a pleasant 5-mile circular route starting from the village green in Osmotherley. The route took the walkers around Cod Beck Reservoir, across Sheepwash, and back to the village, where they rewarded themselves with some well-deserved refreshments at a local establishment.
Looking ahead, the group plans to explore different areas of the Province during future walks. Steve Hall will soon be sharing details for the next walk, expected towards the end of November. If you're interested in joining us for a 5-7 mile gentle circular walk in great company, come along and you'll be warmly welcomed. The purpose of the walking group is to bring family and friends together whilst enjoying our wonderful countryside and you can bring along as many family, friends, Masons, non-Masons and four-legged friends as you like. There is a voluntary donation of £5 per person with a maximum limit of £15 for families. All donations will be contributed to Festival 29.
