On Saturday 1st October, fifty Freemasons, along their invited guests, assembled at Thimbleby Shooting Ground, which is set on the edge of the beautiful North Yorkshire National Park, to participate in the annual Inter-Provincial Clay Pigeon Shooting Competition.
The event was hosted by The Province of Yorkshire North & East Ridings, and it attracted entrants from YNER, Yorkshire West Riding, Durham and West Lancashire. This year's total was £555 and was donated to ‘The Great North Air Ambulance Service’.
To encourage and support their provincial teams, and to interact with the Chief Executive Officer of the Great North Air Ambulance Service, the shoot was attended by two Provincial Grand Masters and an Assistant Provincial Grand master. A big thank you to everyone who took part or helped out on the day at the Inter Provincial Clay Shoot,
It worked out very well and a good day was had by all, many very favourable comments from the team leaders of the other Provinces on the organisation of the shoot and the excellence of the facilities at Thimbleby Shooting Ground.
