W Bro Mark Gatenby, WM of Acklam lodge No 6248 happily handing over a cheque for the sum of £500 to the Macmillan nurses at the James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough recently.

The money will go toward the palliative care in JCUH, particularly in the purchase of camp beds and basic toiletries for those family members who wish to be close to relatives near the end of their life.

It’s good to see that even in these testing times, Freemasons in Middlesbrough and around our Province still chipping in to do their bit and assist the NHS.
