Deputy Provincial Grand Master Jonathan Smith and 14 officers of the active team made a "surprise" visit to Thornborough Lodge No 6434 at Leyburn on Wednesday 8th February.

The visitors witnessed an excellent Raising ceremony. The quick interview from the local police officer as the team were caught loitering outside, added to the evening!

The tough climb up to this unique attic Lodge room proved more than a challenge for a couple of the team but added to the many smiles and fraternal acceptance and hosting by all the members present.
