Long Service Award for Police Support Volunteer

paul hunt award

W. Bro. Paul Hunt, a member of Lennox Lodge 123, has recently received recognition for his long service with North Yorkshire Police (NYP) as Police Support Volunteer (PSV).

Paul has taken on many roles as a PSV. He assists the Cybercrime unit by giving presentations to community groups giving advice on Scams, credit card fraud, fraud websites , password protection and romance scams. He also drives Police vehicles to different areas of the county and country, which helps save valuable police officer time.

Paaul's wife Babs, who is also a PSV, helps with role play and training of drug dogs, firearms training and initial training of police officers and PCSOs. They also man NYP stalls at public events, When Paul and Babs are dealing with the public they are uniformed so are fully integrated into the NYP team.

Lennox Lodge is extremely proud of Paul's achievements, which demonstrates the volume and quality of his voluntary work with the Police. We believe that community engagement like this shows Freemasonry in a great light and he is a credit to our organisation.
