On the recent North York Lodge 602 Lodge evening in September, the brethren were delighted to welcome WBro Brian Whitfield PAGDC who had presented, 10 years ago, WBro John Thompson with his 'Fifty Years in the Craft' certificate and badge. WBro Brian was delighted and surprised that ten years had passed, seemingly so quickly, and that he was now being given the honour of presenting WBro John Thompson with his 'Sixty Years in the Craft' certificate and badge. It was a testimony to WBro John's popularity that he had many supporters from six other Lodges that he visits and many of which, he supports by being their guest organist on their individual Lodge evenings. WBro Brian concluded by saying that he looks forward to presenting WBro John with his 'Seventy years in the Craft' certificate!
