Sir David Wootton in conversation with Provincial Grand Master David Chambers

Sir David Wootton, Second Grand Principal, was the guest of honour at a Grand Officers Mess held at Duncombe Place, York on 21 March.

Sir David had earlier opened St Catherine's Scarborough as a Masonic Aware Centre.

Following an excellent dinner, Sir David updated the audience of 90 Grand Officers and members about the recent Third Pillar Review and the future direction of the Royal Arch. During his address he personally congratulated W Bro Brian Whitfield of Zetland Lodge on his 60 years in the Craft, and was presented with a momento of his visit by Mess President Alan Brundall.
