Cornerstone Lodge, a peripatetic lodge in this Province, met near Scarborough on 28 September and a very special ceremony was witnessed by those present: on the occasion of his 50th year in the Craft, our Provincial Grand Master David Chambers was initiated (again)!
The ceremony was conducted in period dress and using the catechisms and ritual from days past. An original passage was read from the Regius Poem as a portion of the antient charge.
At the following white table festive board, where Brother Ashley had provided a barbecue and a raffle and auction of the period apron worn by the PGM raised over £350.
An entertainer brought the proceedings to an end.
Some of the Lodge members camped and stayed in a caravan in this beautiful spot which overlooks Scarborough Bay.
