As part of their team building process, Girlguiding Great Ayton district recently took 64 young members and 11 leaders (12 Rainbow, Brownies, Guides and 2 Rangers) on a day trip to Yorkshire Wildlife Park near Doncaster.

They joined thousands of other members; split across 88 units as part of Girlguiding North Yorkshire North East county's 50th anniversary celebrations. This gave the girls a unique view of the wider scale of Girlguiding.

The trip was supported by Ayton Lodge with a donation of £600 towards trip expenses, and as is clear from the pictures everyone had a great time!
