It was a very special occasion and not likely to be repeated any time soon, if ever.

The Londesborough Chapter Nº 734 in Bridlington has hosted a unique Interim Provincial Grand Chapter meeting. The meeting was held so that a new 2nd Grand Principal (Richard Smedley) and 3rd Grand Principal (Mark Iveson) could be appointed and invested prior to the Annual Provincial Grand Chapter Convocation in September. In addition, E Comp Trevor Collinson was appointed and invested as Assistant to The Three Provincial Grand Principals and E Comp James Kerr as Provincial Grand Director of Ceremonies.

The MEGS also paid fulsome tribute to the outgoing Officers and thanked them for their long an invaluable work for Provincial Grand Chapter.

The Festive Board after-proceedings, including an excellent meal, happily rounded off this unique and enjoyable meeting.
