27 Sep Armed Forces Covenant
The Masonic Province of Yorkshire North and East Ridings showed their commitment to support those members of the armed forces who have retired from active service by signing the Armed Forces Covenant recently.
The signing took place at the Laing Art Gallery in Newcastle upon Tyne on September the 22nd. and was attended by The Provincial Grand Master, Jeffrey Gillyon and the Assistant Provincial Grand Master, Denis Stubley together with the Deputy Grand Superintendent,of the Royal Arch, Jonathan Smith to show the support of the Chapters of the Province, together with a number of senior officers from the armed forces.
The Covenant will be officially presented and introduced to the members of the Province at a special social dinner for members, their ladies and guests to be held at York Racecourse on the 16th. October of this year.
